These next few pictures are the beginning of what will be a compilation of family photos. Eventually this entire pictures section will be more well-organized and my family will have their own section. These are all the people who have made me what and who I am. They have always been important to me, and they will always be the biggest thing in my life. Everything changes; friends, homes, jobs, and lovers, but my family is a constant. They are a joy and a blessing, and my best friends are all members of my family.
My mom and I. My mom is without a doubt my best friend in the entire world. I can't say enough about her and I won't bother to try now. To make a long story short I cannot imagine any kind of a life without her in it.
My dad and I. I look moronic in this pic, but my dad looks like he's having all kinds of fun, which we probably are. This is the point where I absolutely have to say that everyone should wish for a dad like mine. He's a pillar of family value, and as cheesy as that sounds, it's entirely true. He has a set of family beliefs and morals that every kid should grow up with. He's one of the main reasons why my family is so important to me. It is the greatest lesson I've learned from him: loyalty and unconditional love.
Edit: I just realized my dad's holding a can of Diet Dr Pepper in his hand. What the heck? If you would, imagine that as a bottle of Back Yard India Pale Ale from the Cooperstown Brewery, and all will be right with the world. In retrospect I can hardly believe he let himself be photographed holding anything but.
This is my cousin Jamie, one of my favorite cousins, and the one who supplied most of these pics. We always have a ton of fun when we see each other, which is nowhere near as often as I'd like! One of these days I'll go plagu... I mean, visit her at her new place.
